Heaven Can Wait
Joe Pendleton is a quarterback preparing to lead his team to the superbowl when he is almost killed in an accident. An overanxious angel plucks him to heaven only to discover that he wasn't ready to die, and that his body has been cremated. A new body must be found, and that of a recently murdered millionaire is chosen. His wife and accountant, the murderers, are confused by this development, as he buys the L.A. The story begins with Speed Racer who is a young man with natural racing instincts whose goal is to win The Crucible, a cross-country car racing rally that took the life of his older brother, Rex Racer. Speed is loyal to the family business, run by his parents Pops and Mom. Pops designed Speed's car, the Mach 5. The owner of Royalton Industries makes Speed a lucrative offer, Speed rejects the offer, angering the owner. Speed also uncovers a secret that top corporate interests, including Royalton, are fixing races and cheating to gain profit. With the offer to Speed denied, Royalton wants to ensure that Speed will not win races. Speed finds support from his parents and his girlfriend Trixie and enters The Crucible in a partnership with his one-time rival, Racer X, seeking to rescue his family's business and the racing sport itself.

Battlefront-The Battle Of Midway
The Battle of Midway in June 1942 was the most decisive battle in the Pacific theatre in the Second World War. As a result of their defeat, the Japanese lost the initiative they had gained at Pearl Harbour 6 months earlier and never re-gained it. The loss of four aircraft carriers was a blow from which Japan never fully recovered. For the next 3 years the Americans advanced steadily, island by island, towards mainland Japan.And yet it was all meant to be so different. The Japanese plan was to take Midway, held and heavily fortified by the Americans, and use it as a launching-pad for the invasion of Hawaii. They were unaware, however, that their codes had been cracked by the Americans. This film provides a straightforward account of events leading up to the battle, of the battle itself and of its aftermath. Most of the film material is not contemporary and seems to have been taken from Hollywood blockbusters. But there are interesting interviews with participants on both sides and these give some idea of what it must have been like to have been there at the time.

CONTACT is a drama set around a platoon of British soldiers from the Parachute regiment patrolling the bandit country of the rural border between Northern Ireland and the Republic. There`s hardly any dialogue and absolutely no plot as we see a squad of soldiers getting on with a dangerous and thankless task .
